Effective immediately, Kate & Co. will be going faceless when it comes to sharing images of children online.
As AI continues to evolve and the online world changes with it, I’ve made the decision to take an extra step in protecting the children I have the privilege of photographing.
This does not mean I will stop photographing their sweet faces or delivering those images to their families. It simply means that when I share sessions publicly on Kate & Co.’s social media, I’ll be choosing images that do not show a child’s identifiable face.
Could this potentially hurt my business because I won’t be able to showcase certain images publicly? Possibly. But that is a risk I am willing to take.
I never want to be the reason someone has access to images of someone else’s child. While I can’t control everything that happens online, I can control what I choose to put there — and this is one extra precaution I feel good about taking.
