Photographer fail of the week.

The night of Speedweek at Airport Speedway, I charged my flash battery… and then forgot it was still sitting on the charger when I left.

When I got home, I tossed the battery in my camera bag with the flash, thinking I was all set for the next race. Fast forward to tonight, I pull my flash out and… nothing.

Apparently I left the flash switched on after Speedweek, so the battery was completely dead before I even got to use it. Looks like tonight’s photos are getting done without a flash

With 47 sponsorship applications submitted, I’ve been going through every single one as they’ve come in, and tonight I’ll officially begin announcing the GM Media sponsorship recipients!

I won’t lie—this has been one of the toughest decisions I’ve had to make. Every application has shown passion, dedication, and a genuine love for the sport. So many of you truly represent what GM Media stands for, and that made narrowing the list incredibly difficult.

No matter the outcome, I want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to apply. Your support, your stories, and your belief in what GM Media is building mean more to me than I can put into words.

It’s that time again! The GM Media Monthly Cover Photo Contest is officially open!

Here’s how it works:
Comment your favorite photo taken by GM Media in the comments below.
The photo with the most likes/reactions by the deadline will become the GM Media Facebook cover photo for the entire month!

• The photo must have been taken by GM Media.

I’ve got a couple updates for everyone!

First off, the website is really starting to come together, and I’m honestly excited with how it’s turning out. There are still a few little kinks I’m working through, but everything is coming along nicely. My goal is to have it completely finished by tonight, but if I need a little more time, it’ll definitely be live by this weekend. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on!

Now for next week…

🏁 Wednesday – Bricker Bash at BAPS Motor Speedway
🏁 Thursday – Back to McGrewBid for another night of PA Micro Midget Speedweek
⚾ Friday – Banana Ball in Bowie
🏁 Saturday – Back home at Airport Speedway

As much as I’d love to cover everything, working a full-time job on top of GM Media means four straight days on the road is going to be a challenge.

So I’m going to let you all help me decide.

Anyone know how difficult it is to get media credentials for Bedford Speedway?

I’d really like to make it out there for a few races before the season comes to an end and was wondering what the process is like. If you’ve shot there before or have any experience getting approved, I’d appreciate any advice or tips.

I’m excited to announce that I’ve officially booked my very first wedding for this October!

This is a huge milestone for me as I continue expanding beyond motorsports photography and into capturing some of life’s biggest moments. I’m incredibly grateful to the couple for trusting me to document such an important day, and I can’t wait to tell their story through my camera.
