This year I’m truly grateful to be celebrating Madison & I’s 12th year of marriage & business.
12 years of love, growth & making memories together. Building a career that allows us to showcase our incredible partnership & passion for celebrating love stories as special as our own.
From TN to CO back to TN, we’ve gone on a journey together, all while watching the world change, the industry we work in change.
During the past few years we made a commitment to be present in our lives. Not just moving from moment to moment but being aware of how fast time passes, how every season should be cherished.
While we sometimes go a couple of months without posting here, we are living rich & full lives off of social media, taking in life as it comes, giving our all to our couples & wedding days.
Thank you to everyone who sticks around here even though we don’t share a lot online these days. Maybe that will change in the future but for now, although we aren’t here often, I hope you know how much I value the time we have had with you all, the memories we’ve made together.
In our 12th year of marriage & business we feel grateful to be able to bring so much wisdom & passion to our job. Every wedding day is a new mountain we get to climb, a new journey that helps us grow & becomes a part of our own story together.
I hope wherever you are in this moment you feel peace, happiness & love. I hope you know that you are exactly where you are supposed to be. Even if this season isn’t your best, it’s a part of your story. An opportunity to become wiser, better, stronger.
When I first picked up a camera, I traveled across the country photographing clients & strangers along the way. One stranger I met under the night sky in the mountains in New Mexico. He said to me, “Release yourself from the anchors of society.”
That sentence from a stranger in the night stayed with me. As the world changes & time moves forward, know that your story is yours to tell. Don’t let anything in life hold you back from being the best & happiest version of yourself. Be present, look forward, always be searching for the path that you were uniquely intended to take.
