Help us welcome in "Lady" 🐴

Sometimes they don’t need another home… they need someone willing to find the answer. ❤️🐴

This sweet girl came to us so we can hopefully figure out why she isn’t comfortable or confident with someone on her back. She’s still young, incredibly sweet, and there’s just something telling me there’s more to her story. Right now, I’m leaning toward pain or physical discomfort, so before asking anything more of her, we’re going to work on finding answers.

I’ve had a connection with this mare since the very first time I trimmed her. When circumstances changed and she needed somewhere to go, I couldn’t stand the thought of her landing in the wrong hands or being misunderstood yet again.

She’s already been bounced around enough because people haven’t quite figured her out. So for now, there are no expectations and no timeline. We’ll listen to what she’s telling us, rule out pain, build her confidence, and see where the journey takes us.

Sometimes a horse that says “I can’t” is mistaken for one saying “I won’t.” I have a feeling this girl deserves the chance for someone to figure out the difference. ❤️

Yes, he’s an Appaloosa. Yes, Appaloosa mane struggles are REAL. And yes, I’m over here putting every grooming and hair growth product I can find on what’s left. 😂

But after taking it all off, I was actually pretty excited to see how thick the strip of mane is at the base. 👀🤞🏻 So now we wait, keep taking care of it, and hope it comes back thicker, healthier, and gives this handsome boy a mane worth showing off!

Fingers crossed the roach was worth it! 🤞🏻🐴

A dirty horse isn’t always a neglected horse. 😉🐴

We get asked why we don’t constantly bathe our horses during the summer, especially the paints. A lot of those beautiful white markings have pink skin underneath, and that skin can burn quickly in the summer sun. ☀️

Sometimes that layer of dirt and natural oils is exactly where we want it, helping give their sensitive skin a little extra protection.

So yes… they may look a little dusty, stained, and less than photoshoot ready, but healthy skin comes before a sparkling white coat around here. 🤍

Yesterday was spa day for the stallions, and these two couldn’t be more different if they tried. 😂🐴

Pl***oy has that same quiet, gentle soul that made me fall in love with Levi. He’s calm, respectful, and just genuinely enjoys being around people. ❤️

Maximus is an entirely different story. 😂 That little man is BOLD, curious, opinionated, and convinced every situation needs a little extra excitement courtesy of him. He’s an absolute menace… but he sure makes it hard not to love him. 😈

I think it’s safe to say we have one old soul and one tiny bit of chaos. 😂🖤

A solid horse starts with a solid foundation. 💪🏼🐴

Especially for a young stallion, his willingness to listen, think through what I’m asking, and stay respectful makes me incredibly proud. ❤️ He’s proof that you don’t have to overpower a stallion, you build the foundation, earn the trust, and give them the tools to make the right decisions.

The groundwork always tells the story. Pl***oy is building one heck of a foundation. 🔥

FYI.... The mini mare standing in the video is in full blown heat and he is completely unbothered 👌🏻

Happy 2nd Birthday, Pl***oy! ❤️🎉

Today I climbed on your back for the very first time, and you couldn't have made me prouder. Heck, you even went all out and laid down confidently with me on your back and got back up!!!! 🤯 Your kind heart, willing mind, and calm attitude reminds me so much of Levi.

I always hoped I'd find another horse that would leave the same mark on my heart, and I truly believe I have. You're everything I was looking for in my next heart horse, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes us.

Happy Birthday, Pretty Boy! The best is yet to come! ❤️🐴

I don't know who started the rumor that stallions are supposed to be wild... but these two young stallions clearly didn't get the memo. 😂

Most days, you'll find them stretched out in the sand, soaking up the shade without a care in the world. Pl***oy has become so relaxed that he doesn't even bother getting up anymore, he'd rather I just walk over and fly spray him while he finishes his nap. 😴🐴

Watching them be this comfortable, this trusting, and this content is one of my favorite parts of every day. I'd say they're living the dream... but I think they've got us humans convinced we're the ones working for them. ❤️🤣

Pl***oy is the definition of sweet, calm, affectionate, and always looking for a little extra love, he's the kind of horse that makes everyone feel comfortable around him. 💞

Maximus, on the other hand, has enough personality for ten horses. He's confident, goofy, full of himself, and always looking for his next adventure, or his next way to make us laugh. 🤣

Different personalities, same expectations. Both continue to prove that a stallion can be respectful, trustworthy, and a true partner when they're given the right foundation. 💪🏻

We're incredibly proud of the horses these boys are becoming and can't wait to see what the future has in store for them. ❤️🐴
