I don't know who started the rumor that stallions are supposed to be wild... but these two young stallions clearly didn't get the memo. 😂

Most days, you'll find them stretched out in the sand, soaking up the shade without a care in the world. Pl***oy has become so relaxed that he doesn't even bother getting up anymore, he'd rather I just walk over and fly spray him while he finishes his nap. 😴🐴

Watching them be this comfortable, this trusting, and this content is one of my favorite parts of every day. I'd say they're living the dream... but I think they've got us humans convinced we're the ones working for them. ❤️🤣

Pl***oy is the definition of sweet, calm, affectionate, and always looking for a little extra love, he's the kind of horse that makes everyone feel comfortable around him. 💞

Maximus, on the other hand, has enough personality for ten horses. He's confident, goofy, full of himself, and always looking for his next adventure, or his next way to make us laugh. 🤣

Different personalities, same expectations. Both continue to prove that a stallion can be respectful, trustworthy, and a true partner when they're given the right foundation. 💪🏻

We're incredibly proud of the horses these boys are becoming and can't wait to see what the future has in store for them. ❤️🐴

One thing we take a lot of pride in at CM Equine Services is raising horses that are respectful, trustworthy, and enjoyable to be around.

These are two young stallions standing quietly side by side, respecting each other's space, and showing the kind of manners every horse should have. That's not luck, that's hours of consistent training and handling.

I smiled so big while watching my youngest daughter confidently ask Pl***oy to lay down. Seeing a young stallion willingly lower himself for a child says more about his character than words ever could.

Strong doesn't have to mean difficult. A true gentleman knows when to be powerful and when to be gentle. ❤️🐴

We're excited to watch these boys continue to grow.

At this point, we're convinced he sleeps so much because it takes a tremendous amount of energy to maintain that level of personality. 😂

One minute he's a pocket-sized menace, the next he's laying in the dirt looking like we need to call a veterinarian, a priest, and his next of kin.

Don't worry... he's fine. He's just recharging for his next round of nonsense. 💙

Today was full of big wins for Jase. 💞

Not only did he decide the tallest horse on the ranch was the one he wanted to ride, but he also had his sights set on climbing the big tire obstacle too.
Apparently, "go big or go home" is becoming his motto. 🤣

One of my favorite things about riding ba****ck is how much it encourages riders to use and strengthen muscles they don't even realize they're working. The movement of the horse helps promote balance, body awareness, and encourages those hips to loosen up and move naturally.

Watching Jase become stronger, more confident, and more adventurous each week has been incredible. Every visit, he pushes himself a little further than the week before and today he reminded us all that sometimes the biggest victories start with a simple decision to be brave.

I learned something about Maximus today...

He's apparently willing to do literally everything except what I ask. 🤣

First lesson on laying down and Pocket Raptor gave me a full performance. There was grass eating, dramatic sighs, resting his face on the ground, random pauses to contemplate life, and several attempts to convince me that he was basically laying down already.

The funny part? He never got upset. He just kept trying to outsmart the lesson.

Eventually, the little dinosaur folded up and laid down like he'd known how the whole time.

Tiny horse. Huge personality. 🦖🐴

Remember when getting Pl***oy to lay down meant negotiating with a 1,000-pound toddler? 😅

Today, our juvenile stallion laid down with minimal cues and without me ever touching a leg.

To most people, it's just a horse laying down. To me, it's trust, respect, and months of work finally clicking.

These are the moments that make all the little victories feel huge. Proud doesn't even begin to cover it. ❤️🐴
