My thoughts and heart go out to the victims and their families in the Texas flood. If you are in Texas, where the floods are happening, please get yourselves to safety as they are predicting that there will be more rain to come, and please do not ignore any warnings that include driving through a flood, because even if the flood seems to be small, it can still lift your vehicle or easily sweep anyone in.

Again, my heart and thoughts are with you all who are affected by the devastating Texas flood! Please be safe. 🙏🏻🤗

I hope that all of you enjoy Memorial Day on Monday. Many people get the wrong idea of what Memorial Day, a federal holiday, is observed for. Many people, including myself, thought that Memorial/Day is creating a memory by family and friends during that holiday, but Memorial Day isn't about that. Memorial weekend/day is not even for the family and friends to create memories for us to remember by, and our past as a family or friends. Even though there isn't a Memorial Day weekend, for some reason, people mistakenly think that there is a Memorial Day weekend because of the holiday closure for federal agencies/federal.

Memorial Day is only one day long, the last Monday of May every year. It is only for honoring and mourning the United States military personnel who died while serving in the United States armed forces. There are no buts about it. Memorial Day has been observed for 157 years since the federal government made it a holiday.

How is Memorial Day supposed to be celebrated? Having a cookout, drinking some beers, and a family and friends gathering? No. Imagine how the soldiers who died in combat feel about that. I am sure they'd say it's tacky and disrespectful. How are we supposed to observe Memorial Day? Go to the veteran gravesites, decorate them with American flags, and learn about the history of veterans through different means such as books, TV shows, movies, and online.

The entire Memorial Day holiday is only about the United States veterans who lost their lives in combat, such as the World War, the Revolutionary War, and the Civil War. With respect for the United States veterans in the Civil War, be sure to spit on the Confederate flags and throw them to the landfills because the United States won, so if there's a sight of Confederate flags, then we'd be disrespecting the United States veterans who died during the Civil War. Flip the middle finger to the Confederate flags, same for the sw****ka flag!

I am most grateful to the families of the soldiers who fought in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, both World Wars, and others. They're in our thoughts as we observe Memorial Day! They are truly patriots, and they made America what it is. Especially the ones who were drafted to fight a war, because these soldiers who were drafted had no choice but to enlist under the force of the United States government.

They are truly Americans. 🇺🇸
