Finally some clear skies this evening. Saw Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS. Started around 8pm, and the closer it got to horizon the more it faded. Included a shot of comet and road looking straight west. Also a chart on whereabouts comet is in the sky. Can be seen with the naked eye. Camera does enhance comet though. Enjoy if you can get out to see over the next few days.

Road trip yesterday to the Ducks. Only Tamarack showed color. Poplar and birch trees are mostly bare.

Our Story - Hearts2Nature

Two nature photographers, one based in Canada, one in the United States... team up to present photographic and video depictions of North America’s Scenic beauty, wildlife habitations, and beautiful nature subjects throughout the United States and Canada. Dennis J. Trush, of Manitoba Canada and Jeri Ann Payne of northern Alabama travel throughout their perspective regions filming and photographing nature’s best scenery and subjects - from tiny macro/micro worlds, creatures great and small, the magficient night skies and Northern Lights, sunrises, sunsets, flora and fawna and bring it all to life-online. Their work is showcased on Facebook ( Hearts2Nature ) page, as well as on an extensive website at

Currently they are working on several video/film projects, with orginal music compositions to bring viewers a “living glance” of some of the continent’s beauty and splendor.
