This tiny biker gang - both terrifying and cute - is our neighborhood crew.
Last weekend I organized a little photoshoot with the kids in our neighborhood. I had this concept of a tiny biker gang photoshoot years ago after seeing these kids riding around our street on their bikes and scooters - all fearless and like they owned the place.🤪
Naturally, I had them pose looking as tough as they could.
This wasn’t my usual family portrait session, but still felt deeply meaningful and even bittersweet. This was a nod to all the childhood friendships that were formed here, the everyday sidewalk screams and chaos, and the small, everyday interactions that now suddenly hold a large space in our hearts.
This little street has been part of my children’s world now for nine years. And since we’re planning to move in a few months, this shoot felt especially bittersweet.💔
Though I’m so glad I finally captured them! My daughters are already asking for prints to hang up in their new rooms so they can remember their friends.
My one regret - not doing this sooner! 🤍📸
