It's Goosebump Jump time in Granbury, Texas. Love getting to give Granbury Goose a new makeover each year. This time he's celebrating 250 years of the USA!

Granbury’s coolest winter tradition is back—and bigger, bolder, and colder than ever. Visit Granbury & Granbury Lodging Partners invites thrill-seekers, families, and community groups to the 6th Annual Lake Granbury Goosebump Jump on January 17, 2026, at City Beach Park.

This year, jumpers will brave a 16-foot slide straight into frigid Lake Granbury and pose inside a giant walk-in snow globe for the ultimate winter photo. Guaranteed snowfall, mascot races, snow play for kids, chili cook-off tastings, and the official Winter Guest Passport kickoff make this a full day of family fun and community excitement.

Jump Fee: $10 | Chili Tasting: $10
All proceeds benefit local nonprofits, with prizes awarded to organizations with the most participants.

We spent the afternoon at Innovate 120 in Maquoketa, Iowa for Wednesdays Are Possible, a monthly event that features local entrepreneurs. Robert Abbott interviewed the crew from Cornelius Seed. We had the privilege of capturing the fascinating story of this 90+ year-old-family business. Now, we’ll turn it into a podcast to share their story of resilience and innovation through the years. As a side-gig, we have been producing a personal project which has been so fulfilling in so many ways. The Beautiful View Podcast Is an avenue for communicating positive stories, and inspiring listeners/viewers to always look for the Beautiful View in every situation. As the podcast has gained more attention, we have increased the production value. To date, this is one of the most "involved" episodes. On location shoot of an interview and b-roll, and the inclusion of many great photos supplied by Textile Brewing Company. This is an inspiring story. Go out there and find your "Third Space." Your community will benefit from the gifts you have!
