Life is like a wildflower - it's all fancy and stuff, but also super easy to squish. Oh my goodness, words cannot even express how excited, incredibly grateful, and slightly amused I am right now! 🤯✨
​The newest edition of Noir and Lore Magazine, titled "What's Up is Down," is officially out—and I am absolutely thrilled to share that multiple photos of mine have been published in it! 📸🖤
​Seeing my work in print never gets old, but this issue is extra special. Not only did some of my favorite shots make the cut, but my absolute favorite model in the entire world—the incredibly patient, handsome, and adventurous Dane Thedane —is featured in there too! (See? I told you all that modeling practice would pay off, babe! 😘)
​A massive, heartfelt thank you to the team at Noir and Lore for featuring my work alongside so many talented artists. Time is a absolute thief. 🕒❤️
I came across this photo of my kids when they were young, and it feels like it was just yesterday. I vividly remember how excited—and let’s be honest, a little terrified!—I was as a young single mom, taking her four kids all by herself on a road trip to the White Mountains.
Of course, some kind of chaos had to hit. As you can see, my youngest was not having it and literally cried the whole time! 😂 But through the tears and the noise, there I was, absolutely determined to capture this moment for a memory.
Looking at it now, this is exactly what photography means to me. It’s not about perfection; it’s about capturing real, raw moments and getting to be creative with the beautiful mess of real life.
It also got me thinking about the future. As a mom, I have almost zero photos of me with my kids because I was always behind the lens. I would love to get back to my roots of working with families at some point. I’m dreaming of doing candid sessions for families—tagging along on trips, or just freezing those ordinary, chaotic, beautiful things you love to do together. Because trust me, it goes by in a flash. ✨💫🌟🎉
