It was such a pleasure meeting the Jeffries family last weekend and capturing some beautiful family memories! We couldn't have asked for better fall weather in Iowa City. 🍂

AIDEN | CLASS OF 2027 | Durant High School 🏈

He plays his last regular-season football game this Friday, Oct. 16, and admits he's not quite ready for his high school days on the gridiron to end. But he knows there's another chapter of life waiting in the wings, and he's excited to see what the future holds.

A big guy with a quiet, gentle personality, Aiden was such a pleasure to photograph! And since I happen to love football, we had a great time on Sunday trying different poses and getting creative on the field. He was quite a trooper and did an awesome job!

For me, the session came with a little nostalgia, too. It had been more than 30 years since I'd stepped onto that field, where my own brother played his high school football games in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Talk about bringing back memories!

Best of luck to Aiden and the Durant Wildcats this Friday! Enjoy every minute! 🏈

He might have been born and raised in Iowa, but this young man has a little Texas in his soul! 🤠

He loves all things Texas, cowboys, and country music from the 1980s and 1990s. No wonder I kept thinking of John Travolta as Bud in the 1980 movie Urban Cowboy during last night's photo session!
