We've been pretty quiet. News moves fast, time flies, and before you know it months become half a year. Since we posted our Happy New Year message 2020 seems to be anything but. Small businesses and clients are struggling and cracks in our system have become more evident. Along with the recent coronavirus pandemic we face the old adversary of racism. As we begin the process toward coming back it is important to remember lessons we have learned during these more difficult times. At Surrealist Pictures we want to help people get back on their feet and engage with current civic issues. #2020

For us we think having a cinematic and creative storytelling background is very important for any company looking to expand their brand though video. There are so many videos out there that people just watch and don’t connect to as they are overwhelmed, making it even more important to hit all the right notes in your message.

Having trouble getting results with video? The usual suspect is the content and the context it’s presented in. Like most things in life though, it is important to pick yourself up and keep trying. The statistics for well-produced video are clear so don’t give up if you face a setback on branding or falling short of your distribution goals.
