otis's cousin who lives out in western mass, drove all the way out here for me to take her senior pictures. her vision was gardens and the beach. i think we accomplished just that!

i cannot believe this baby who was born with big blue eyes and blonde hair that would stick straight up is now a tall, beautiful girl with the thickest long hair, sweetest smile and still those baby blue eyes.

she wants to become a pediatric nurse and is looking to head south without the desire to ever return home. she is a gymnastics coach, drives over an hour to attend cheer practice and takes ap classes in school. she is driven, committed, a leader, loves kids and not afraid to work hard. she is going to make a wonderful sympathetic, caring nurse one day.

Hinkle Family

7yrs ago I photographed Lauren and Stephen's wedding and this past weekend I got to meet up with their family again and many more additions along the way. It was so wonderful to catch up with them and see the joy these adorable grandkids bring to everyone's lives. Lots of laughs, smiles and baby cuddles in the sunshine was the perfect Sunday.

Lauren - please don't let another 7yrs go by! It truly was so lovely to see you all again and meet your growing family, your sister's family and your very proud parents. xx Erinn

Sneak peek of Lindsay and Graham's maternity session

How perfect and fitting to spend Mother's Day with the sweetest mama-to-be and her husband. These two were the kindest, friendliest and most genuine couple. They have been patiently waiting for some time to become parents and their rainbow baby's due date is this coming Wednesday. They are keeping the gender a surprise but shared with me that the nursery will be nautical theme so of course we had to do some pictures by the ocean.

I cannot wait to hear when this little one arrives. This baby is going to be so, so loved. “The pain that you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that is coming.” – Romans 8:18

Lindsay and Graham - congrats on this exciting journey to parenthood. I look forward to meeting your perfect nugget. Hope all the walking, toes in the ocean and a big plate of pasta makes this baby want to come out! So lovely to meet you both. xo Erinn

Last week I had the pleasure to take pet mini holiday portraits at The Natural Dog

Sneak peek of Alexandra!

Alexandra is a senior and wanted her senior portraits done in a record store. How cool is that?! She told me everyone always has their portraits done outside and she wanted something that would stand out. We went to Dyno Records in Newburyport and the shop owner was kind enough to open the store a bit early for us to sneak in and have the whole space to ourselves. Immediately Alexandra looked for a record of her idol, Billie Eilish so we could incorporate it into the shoot. She brought example photos to try, her own light and a whole vibe along with her. She was confident in her posing and new exactly how she wanted to be portrayed in her senior photos. Uniquely herself and something no one else was going to have - the best kind of shoots to have!

Alexandra is a singer herself. She played Morticia in her high school musical and will be interviewing at Berklee next week. She hopes to become a performer one day or major in music therapy. Alexandra loves all types of music (except def not a Swiftie....I got a look when I asked 😅). She has a natural talent, doesn't use a vocal coach and was very quiet about her craft. She laughed when I asked if she would ever try out for American Idol but after hearing her sing on a video her mom sent me, she should really give it a shot. She has an amazing voice, very powerful but controlled and I really think she is going to go places with it. Watch out world - a new Adele-Kelly Clarkson has entered the stage.

Alexandra - I hope you continue to just keep being you and singing your heart out. I wish you the best of luck on your interview and hope to get to hear you sing in person some day! xx Erinn

Congrats Chase & Caroline!

Wow oh wow - what a way to celebrate being home for Thanksgiving for these two. On Friday night I received a text from a number I did not know. It was from Chase asking if I was available the next day for a surprise proposal. Due to weather conditions the date was changed and his original photographer was unable to cover the proposal so he had to find someone quick. Lucky for me, he found me online and for a brief moment I got to feel like I was covering a very romantic date one only sees on tv.

Caroline went to Chase's senior prom and after high school they went their separate ways to then reconnect during covid. Chase has been planning this proposal for a few months and you could tell how special he wanted to make it. He told her he was taking her into Boston and pretended he took a wrong turn and had to run around at the Beverly airport. He had the airport crew standing by to open the gate so he could drive his car out onto the tarmac. There he had a beautiful fur to keep her warm and placed the coat around her as they made their way out the helicopter. The helicopter ride was one surprise but when he dropped to his knee Caroline was shocked to see what was happening next. With just myself in the pilot off in the distance, we got to witness her say YES to forever with him. With cheers of congrats I was able to take a few quick shots before they went up in the air and off into the sunset. It was perfect and I am so thankful I got to be a part of it.
