Seeing my pictures being used is so crazy 🥹

Bears advance!

Behind big day’s from Braxton Bunch and Austin Stidham, Union went on to defeat Gate City in the opening round of the Mountain 7 Tournament at Buster Taylor Field.

Bunch finished the game 3-4 with 4 RBIs while Stidham finished 2-3 with 3 RBIs. Abe Hall also finished with 3 hits for the Bears while Kam Bishop added on 2 hits and Eli Pleasant tacked on an RBI. Liam Skeen and Collyn Neff Combined to strike out 9 Blue Devil batters while Neff tossed 3 innings of no hit ball in relief.

The Bears come away with an opening round victory over the Blue Devils, bringing their overall record to 15-5.

We will be back in action tomorrow in the semi-finals at Falcon Park in Abingdon to take on the second seeded Trojans from John Battle. First pitch is slated for 5:00PM.

The mountain 7 district tournament starts tomorrow may 18th at buster taylor field at 6pm. Come out and cheer on the boys as they play against gate city!
