I got a bit obsessive and finished her.
“Athena’s Tears”
She was inspired by Athens , with what I experienced of the city outside of the tourist area.
The syringes, the small animal bones with flesh, the rough environment.
Without obviously painting the filth…
She isn’t meant to a human figure, but a sculpture bust; hence the lack of arms, chest, and the monochromatic ‘skin’.
Her eyes being the exception, crying for the struggles in her city.
