I hate that I have to repost this not even a year later. ‼️ I have had EIGHT brides since last Sunday panic, calling friends, reaching out, etc. due to a photographer canceling on them. Three of them THE DAY OR WEEK OF!!! — I do believe emergencies happen. But I also have been in an emergency and still taken all precautions possible to put my client first and find someone to step in, help, or meet me halfway in arrangements. — with 5 years in the Wedding industry, this is by FAR the worst I have seen scammers.
And yes, ghosting, canceling without real reason, or dropping the ball (and taking their deposit or full payment) without finding or helping find a fill in, IS a Scam.
It is EXHAUSTING for the rest of us, simply trying to do our job. — what a disappointment.
get a grip, be human. 😕

** I DO keep a list of my highly recommended & go-to’s on hand, however it is a busy season for us all rn, we’re bumping into each other just trying to fix the issue someone else made…and it is disheartening and sad!! **
