When A + S reached out to me, they expressed a special connection with this place. After experiencing it myself, I feel a similar draw. I never dreamed I would get to capture love in a landscape like this, and so close to home.

The wind, the sand, and the silence converged to provide an incredible scene for the couple to embody their connection and celebrate their engagement. This session felt like a sacred and intimate celebration of love, barefoot and unfiltered, surrounded by nothing but vast beauty.

These two brought so much tenderness and calm to the wild desert landscape. Truly a moment I’ll never forget. 🤍

Rock climbing is pretty neat! Still and always the most in love with capturing expressions of joy of climbers - within and across every spectrum. My very favorite is capturing the awe of first-time climbers. It ALWAYS ignites the stoke in a huge and wonderful way.

I was honored to work with the photo team again - right at home in Bishop - this year as a photo mentor to two amazing photographers diving into the industry. Teaching the tricks of the trade and how to ascend a rope was SO FUN. It was also pretty rad to get to work the event alongside my awesome partner as one of the incredible climbing rangers (check out !) - and to be able to head home for lunch and a shower and sleep in my bed between festivals days instead of my truck - what a treat!

In other news, I am wrapping up my first semester of grad school headed for a masters in social work and am loving (almost) every second. I start a brand new field practicum internship in a month with an incredible local group practice and can’t wait to learn from the amazing practitioners in the area. This path is so aligned with everything about who I am and I can’t believe that I’m just about a quarter of the way through! The first step at least :)

Photo work is picking up again with the dawn of hawt bishop spring and I’m thrilled to be working with amazing clients and couples here at home and all around the globe this year! Head to my website or send me a dm to chat about scheduling a photography experience if it’s anywhere on your mind!

Oh Red Rock, how has it taken me so long to discover you?! From invert boulders to beautiful intimidating multi-pitches to edgy sport climbs (yummy!) to steep shenanigans to chill multi-pitch to fingery epic trad lines to…. yeah.

Your burgundy tones touches my heart and your canyons look like the universe took a paintbrush and smattered, smeared, and poured gorgeous bits of fun all over. What a party! Plus all you can eat sushi like a half hour away? Ok. Yes.

So incredibly fun to explore this candy shop with you !!

p.s. so sorry to leave a bit of blood on this beautiful route, but the drama queen finger is fine thankfully!

I’ve enjoyed every moment of my first full summer in the Eastern Sierra. I planned this trip and that trip across the states and across the pond but scrapped them all for the friends, flowers, summits, dance parties, and abundance of beautiful growth and expansion I am finding here.

Along with the beauty there has been loss, and it is complex to mourn the loss of friends and community members while engaging in the activities which also keep us alive and thriving. All my love to those most deeply affected and to everyone touched by them.

This day with and made me so happy to be where I am. I’ve been taking a big long break from posting on social media, which is complex as a small business owner! -but we only have one life and I have stopped making myself share for the sake of sharing if I’m not feeling it.

That being said, I am excited to be excited to share more about my upcoming professional work and partnerships this fall as well as fun personal adventures in climbing and life!

Let’s go !! Who’s ready for an incredible weekend?! Connection and community are part of the core of my love for climbing. Although we might be experiencing some interesting challenges this year due to the wacky weather, it’s so wonderful to see everyone in good spirits pivoting with positivity and grace.

The community we build through gathering as climbers truly transcends climbing itself. My first Flash Foxy changed the entire trajectory of my life and career. I met so many wonderful people who I still adventure, climb, work, and chat with all the time. I’m so excited to help capture the psyche!

If you see me, come say hi and tell me your story! I’ll be one of the folks with the 📸 wearing a goofy grin 😁
