Your wedding photographer headed to your wedding ➡️ your wedding photographer coming home.

Three hours round trip. Hours of shooting in nearly 100° weather. Approximately 47 pounds of camera gear hanging off my body. 😂 And by the time I got home? Hair down, makeup gone, arms FULL, and clutching the cupcake I was finally going to eat once I stopped feeling like I had been personally attacked by the sun.

And you know what? I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Because somewhere between the sweating, the driving, the sore feet and unloading all that gear… I get to document one of the biggest days of someone’s life. And then, because I have absolutely ZERO chill, I come home, back everything up and make sure my couples have a sneak peek in their hands within 24 hours. That’s just part of the standard I’ve set for myself.

And this wedding was extra special. 🤍

I’ve worked with Kelly for YEARS, so when she asked if I would photograph her and Brandon’s wedding at an Indiana flower farm, there was only one possible answer: OF COURSE I WILL.

Friday night roll call because I need to know who I’m dealing with around here! 🙋‍♀️

Are we:
A. Going OUT out
B. Canceling plans and putting on the sweats
C. Staying home… but the “comfy clothes” are cute lingerie because why the hell not? 👀

2020 vs. now. 🥹
And the biggest glow-up? It was never really physical.

For so many years, I felt stuck. Stuck in my own head. Stuck in survival mode. Depressed. Disconnected from myself. I hated the reflection staring back at me in the mirror — and if I’m being transparent, that last one is still something I’m working on.

But the woman I am now? She’s learning to speak to herself differently. She protects her peace a little more. She knows she doesn’t have to stay in places that make her feel small. She’s learning that growth isn’t always something you can see in a before-and-after photo.

Sometimes the biggest glow-up is in the way you think.
The boundaries you finally set.
The things you stop tolerating.
The way you pick yourself back up.
The decision to keep becoming someone you’re proud to be.

I still have so much to figure out. So much to learn. So many parts of myself I’m still working on — mentally and physically.

But damn, I’m thankful for the woman who refused to stay where she was. 🖤

2020 me had no idea how much life, confidence, healing, heartbreak, growth and becoming were ahead of her.

And 2026 me?

She’s still a work in progress… but she finally realizes that’s the whole damn point. ✨

Becoming the kind of woman who inspires other women to love themselves was never going to be easy.

Especially when I’ve spent most of my life picking myself apart.
Never really believing I was desirable.
Surviving sudden losses that changed me forever.
Watching my body fail me in ways I couldn’t control.
Learning the hard way that some people only loved what I could do for them.

I didn’t become confident because life was kind to me.

I became confident because somewhere along the way, I decided I was done abandoning myself just because other people had.

I climbed mountains to become this version of me.

And maybe that’s why I’m so damn passionate about reminding other women that they can climb theirs, too. 🖤

Confidence didn’t come naturally to me.
I fought like hell for it.

Baby… YOU are the something worth celebrating.
Sometimes all it takes is some clearance roses, a beautiful little spot off the beaten path, golden sunlight, and enough water to wash away whatever version of yourself you’re ready to leave behind.

That’s what I want a portrait experience with me to feel like.
Not awkwardly standing in front of a camera trying to look pretty.
An experience.
A memory.
