this month, donations are doubled at Uplands PEAK! this is one of my favorite sanctuaries to visit and photograph 💚

Did you know that care costs go up exponentially during these cold winter months? As we onboard new staff and plan for the year, we need your support now more than ever! For example, winter treats for the birds cost around $80 PER WEEK! These extra treats are important this time of year to continue their enrichment and stimulation when they can't spend time outside foraging. Don't forget that your donation will be DOUBLED through the end of the month!

this is Pearl, a gentle, loving gal who lives at Good Acres Sanctuaries in Kentucky. Pearl was born blind and came to the sanctuary when she was five months old. what a gem she is to spend time with. such a kind and curious spirit.
