Kids do NOT need to look at the camera for a photo to be worth framing. Give me the messy hair, the little hand holding Mom’s dress, the toddler hiding their face, the belly laughs, the movement, the chaos. I’ll take a photo that feels like your family over a perfectly posed “everyone say cheese” photo every time.

A little shift for Moonlit 🤎
As you all know with the shift in AI and protecting our children this is a movement I stand behind even as a business owner but more so as a mother.

Going forward, I’ll be moving toward a more faceless approach when sharing images of children online.

This doesn’t mean I’ll stop photographing all of the sweet expressions, smiles, and personalities during your session; your full gallery will still tell the complete story of your family.

But for the images I share publicly, you’ll start seeing more little hands, curls, silhouettes, movement, connection, tiny details, and those beautifully ordinary moments that make childhood feel like childhood.

I’ve been feeling pulled toward a style that protects a lot more of our children’s privacy while still allowing me to create and share meaningful art.

I’m really excited for this next chapter of Moonlit by Denisha: softer, more intentional, and focused on the feeling of the moment. 🤎

The way your little one reaches for your hand.
The way your partner looks at you when you aren’t paying attention.
The laughter, the chaos, the love that somehow feels ordinary today but one day will mean everything.
I know that for some families, professional photos simply aren’t in the budget. That doesn’t mean those memories deserve to go undocumented.
So I’m opening a limited number of Pay It Forward River Mini Sessions. 🤍
For these sessions, there is a $25 minimum to reserve your spot, and from there, you simply pay what you’re able. If you’re in a season where you can give a little more, your generosity helps make these sessions possible for another family.

✨ NEWBORN MODEL CALL ✨

I’m looking for 6 newborn babies to photograph during July and August for lifestyle newborn sessions as I continue growing my portfolio.

These sessions will be offered at a special portfolio-building rate of $125 (regular pricing will be increasing in the future).

What’s included:
🤍 Up to 45 minutes of shooting time
🤍 In-home lifestyle session/studio session can be discussed
🤍 Immediate family and sibling photos welcome
🤍 15+ professionally edited digital images
🤍 Print release

Requirements:
• Baby should be 5–21 days old at the time of the session (you may apply while pregnant if due in July or August)
• Must be comfortable with images being used on my website and social media for portfolio and marketing purposes
• Located in Mountain Home, Boise, Kuna, Meridian, Nampa, or surrounding areas

A little reminder that self-love doesn’t have to look loud to be powerful. 🤍

Sometimes it looks like giving yourself grace.
Speaking to yourself with softness.
Letting yourself be seen exactly as you are.

This session was about slowing down and reconnecting
with confidence,
with femininity,
with the version of yourself that still deserves love in every season.

You don’t have to earn your worth.
You don’t have to change before you feel beautiful.
You are allowed to take up space.
You are allowed to feel radiant.
You are allowed to love yourself here, too. ✨
