Here at the Wood River Land Trust, we’re all about protecting the natural wonders of our valley. And let’s be honest, beavers are some of the most dedicated land stewards out there! Their dams create crucial wetlands, improve water quality, and enhance habitat for countless species. They’re basically little, furry conservationists!

So today, let’s give a round of applause (or a satisfying tail slap!) to these incredible creatures. They remind us that nature, when given the space, has an amazing ability to restore and enrich our environment.
