I want to recognize Asa Murray for his Scout project and the lasting impact it will have on Polk County, Missouri.

Three years ago, while I was still Mayor, Asa came to me with the idea of adding a third monument at the Polk County Courthouse to honor our WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans. Asa, his father Charles, Carl Summers and I visited with the County Commissioners, and today that monument sits proudly between the military branch monument and the WWI Doughboy statue.

Asa worked with Superior Products, owned by Carl Summers, and Warwick Electric. WE was honored to contribute the electrical materials and labor to install the red, white, and blue LED lights that now shine on these monuments.

It was truly an honor to be a small part of this historical project and to see a young leader like Asa bring this vision to life for our veterans and our community.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Manage fleet tracking systems and vehicle records

Oversee invoice collections and follow up on outstanding accounts

Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial data

Export, batch, and sync data from ServiceTitan to QuickBooks

Track and manage employee tool inventory and program usage

Assist with planning and coordination of operational resources
