The calm before the agricultural storm. 🚜 I took the drone up over the Central Iowa Expo grounds this afternoon to get a bird’s-eye view of the 2026 Farm Progress Show coming together. The sheer scale of this event is impressive from the ground, but seeing the layout from above really puts into perspective how much preparation goes into transforming Boone into the center of the ag world for the week. The gates open tomorrow morning! Who's going to be there?

Sometimes the best business days look like a day off.

Yesterday I took some time to hang out with my daughter before her big first day of second grade today! We grabbed some great food and made some awesome memories.

We did manage to sneak in a little bit of company business, though. Huge shoutout to Faisal at Dewey Ford for getting us set up with the official new Stratus Mobile! This 2500 HD is going to be a game-changer for hauling our gear to larger mapping and commercial real estate sites.

Feeling incredibly grateful for the flexibility to be there for the big family moments while still building the business. Here’s to a great school year for her, and a busy fall for Stratus Flight & Field! 🚀

What an incredible day capturing the Boone Antique-Rods-Customs-Muscle Car Show from the sky! Looking down at beautiful Downtown Boone, the streets were absolutely packed with stunning classics, hot rods, and heavy-hitting muscle cars. It is always amazing to see the community come together, and getting a bird's-eye view of all that gleaming chrome and custom paint really highlights the massive scale of this fantastic local tradition.
