Hello! Thank you for being here! My page has grown tremendously over the last few months so I thought I would re-introduce myself. My name is Melissa and I offer a variety of photography services at my downtown Boone, IA studio or outdoors at many beautiful locations all over Iowa and southern Minnesota. I’m also able to do some studio sessions in Owatonna, MN.

A little about myself-I started professionally taking photos in 2019-this July is my 7th anniversary of my business! I worked as an x-ray technologist for 15 years and am now a full time photographer and stay at home mom to my 4 year old. I have always loved taking photos and capturing memories to look back on-starting in middle school when I was one of the yearbook photographers!

Photography services are more than just the finished photos. Though I take pride in delivering the best images for your walls, social media and marketing use, I believe the experience is just as important. From initial consultation, to wardrobe assistance to the session itself, I want to make this a fun and easy experience. Family sessions shouldn't be stressful. Senior sessions should have no guess work. Sports photos should be easy and chaos free. My job as your photographer is to guide you every step of the way and regardless of the session type, give you a final product that is high quality.

I photograph pretty much any type of sessions with an emphasis on seniors, families, sports and newborns. I also love to do marketing and headshot photos, milestones and maternity sessions. I offer seasonal sessions specifically at Christmas and throughout the year, so please follow my page for updates!

Fun & important facts:

*I am trained in safe newborn posing and wrapping-these little miracles are so delicate and even the slightest mis-position can be dangerous.

*I have a client close of over 150 pieces available for my clients at no extra cost.

*I provide EVERYTHING for newborn and milestone sessions. From backdrops to props and everything in between, this is all part of my service. I have so many fun things to use for your photos!

I just got so much new stuff to add to my newborn sessions! On top of everything I already have, I’ve added new outfits, bonnets, baby bed linens, stuffies and so much more! I am trained on proper newborn handling and positions, plus I provide EVERYTHING needed for a newborn photo session, so sit back, relax and get the photos you deserve of your new baby!
