If you love cats even just a little… Meow & Mocha - Cat Cafe is about to have your whole heart 🐾

It all started with Nicky Teague, who at just 19 years old already had a heart and soul wired for saving cats, bringing home strays and giving them a second chance. On vacation, she once drove a cat nearly 400 miles home after finding him scared and alone in a McDonald’s parking lot… and he’s still part of her family today.
When she moved back to Oklahoma, she saw a need for something more for cats in need, a safe and loving space for cats to be themselves and a stress-free environment to showcase their unique personalities to potential adopters. And instead of waiting for someone else to do it, she answered the call herself.
On May 20, 2025, Meow & Mocha opened its doors, and you can feel that purpose and mission in every corner. Now they have adopted out over 60 cats to their families!
From the moment you step inside, the space wraps around you in warmth. It’s modern, cozy, and somehow timeless… like if a cat designed their dream home and invited you in. Think "Mojo Dojo Casa House" from Barbie... but for cats. You can tell instantly that Nicky doesn’t just run this place, she lives it. The connection between her and the cats is real and heartfelt.
At the heart of it all is a 2,000 square foot cat lounge, a space thoughtfully designed for both play and peace. Cats can socialize, explore, or tuck themselves away when they need a quiet moment. It’s their world, and we just get to be part of it for a while. But the best part? These cats are adoptable.
And that’s the beauty of a cat café.
It’s not just about coffee (although yes… they have boba teas, milk teas, fruit teas, coffee, and baked goods [even caffeine-free options for the littles]). It’s about connection. These cats gain confidence, social skills, and comfortability with people and their environment, all of which helps them on their journey to find their forever home. And for us? It’s grounding and borderline therapeutic. It’s slowing down long enough to sit, play, and just be.
Even if you’re not looking to adopt, your visit still matters. Every drink, every reservation, every moment spent with these cats supports their care and their future.
A few things to know before you go:
• The café and cat lounge are separate for cleanliness and safety.
• All cats are fully vetted, health tested, and spayed/neutered.
• There are three permanent resident cats who live there full-time, helping new kitties learn how to socialize.
• The rest are adoptable through rescue partners.
Reservations for the lounge are highly recommended (one-hour slots)… but fair warning, you’re going to wish you booked more time. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows.
