🙊 Am I the A**hole??

🪶A new series I'm calling "Reddit Stories with A Colonial Man".

🤔 Now that we've established the dynamics between myself and currently unnamed Colonial Man, subsequent parts will have actual Reddit stories.

🤭 Whether those stories are real stories from reddit or actual tea from the colonial days, well you'll just have to watch and find out. I'm sure the themes won't be dead giveaways 🤣

👀 I'm sure unnamed Colonial Man will have some hot takes on the stories. Can wait to see what type of bu****it he's on or if he will end up learning and growing from this. He is a land owning white man from the 1700s so we will set our expectations low but damn I'm sure we will enjoy the ride.

⏩ And if you just enjoy learning about historic sites but can't seem to get off the couch to go check them out, come check out my main series I Do Fun Things in New England So You Don't Have To where I go to cool historic sites, homes, museums, etc and give you my slightly sarcastic and satirical take on the matter.

🌟 PART 8: Victoria Mansion, Portland, ME :: PICS FROM PART 8 (see full reel in profile)

📣🎉 A new series I'm calling "I Do Fun Things in New England So You Don't Have To"

👀Please don't watch unless you want to learn about cool places with an, at times, satirical voiceover.

😍 Easily the most beautiful home I have visited. And I clearly lucked out because the tour guide said they basically never open the shutters but today, the shutters were open in every room, allowing for beautiful natural light to flood the home. And as a photographer who plays a lot with natural lighting, it was best case scenario for me. I can't even imagine taking photos in there without the natural light. If you look at the photos I took, so much of it plays off the light coming in through the windows.

😐 That being said it clearly has a dark history and it is hard to reconcile enjoying so much architectural beauty that was built at the expense of human freedom as slavery is what afforded this couple the availability to pay for the opulence of this home.

🤑 This was the most expensive house I've get to visit. You may have noticed that most places I go to cost $0, $5, $10. This one was $19 but I understand as they are constantly restoring it to maintain it.

I love visiting historic homes, historic sites, cool nature spots. So if you liked this series (which you better because otherwise the colonial doll might have something to say to you about it), then stay tuned for more!

I moved to New England from Los Angeles 11.5 years ago. And I have always spent most of my free days just traveling around New England doing cool things, taking video of it and never posting the footage. Until now! So come back for parts 9-???

PHOTOS FOR 🧙 PART 7: Salem Pioneer Village

Welcome to the very first episode where I find myself disappointed! 😬

📣🎉 A new series I'm calling "I Do Fun Things in New England So You Don't Have To" (peep my profile to find the matching reel of this disappointing visit!)

Don't come for me Salem! I love Salem, MA but when it comes to historic tour/tourism in general, the Witch City Charm is less charming and more cringe. Now this doesn't fall into that cringe factor, I just genuinely think it wasn't worth my time and money. But that being said if you want to do a photoshoot there, hit me up 👀☎️

This is not hokey in a fun way nor hokey in a boring way. I just think it wasn't worth the money 🤷‍♀️ Have you been? What are your thoughts on it? Did you know they are moving it?

However I did also learn that these structures are about 100 years old. Replicas of what would have been 400 years ago. Built as part of Salem's 300th anniversary celebration. So both cool and disappinting 🙃

🌻 How has almost the entire summer passed since these cottage sessions took place?!

I feel like I've loved three different lifetimes this summer. And if you've followed me for a while, you'll know, I'm never ready for summer to end. Fall is my favorite time of the year but it's way too short and then leads to the next season aka six months of brutal abuse known as winter. 😑

So I'm soaking up every last bit of it, going to tons of fun places, making tons of fun videos for y'all for my I Do Fun Things in New England So You Don't Have To series.

👀 Getting ready to schedule ONLY 1 days worth of Fall Mini Sessions and already starting to try and plan Holiday Mini Sessions dates for this year so stay tuned for those!
