Hi Everyone! It's been a couple weeks since the DVDC Fast CAT so I wanted to check in and mention that if you requested a gallery.... be sure to check it out! I did email everyone as their galleries were ready but since handwriting on the form you all fill out can sometimes be tricky to read... I just wanted to follow up here. If you find anything missing just email me. All dogs are listed by day and name so it's super easy to locate your own pup. All photos have been edited... yes each and every photo!!! I only want to give you the best work I possibly can! Be sure to check out the digital packages. Prints and wall art are also available. (And if you pre-ordered don't forget to make your selections and let me know!)

Also don't forget to check the starting line galleries. Those are not by dog name but they are in order of runs.

I will be there all 3 days capturing all the action! I am offering all the normal pre-order packages PLUS the option to get ALL the photos in your gallery... whether I create a gallery of 50 images or 200 images... they can all be yours for one flat rate! Includes your photos from ALL days! This is the perfect event for this option since lots of dogs jump multiple times a day, multiple days.... so these galleries tend to be big!

Here's one of my favorite shots from last year.... I can always count on Allie to give me some interesting antics to photograph! Love her!

I am continuing to roll out galleries for people who requested them. I do email people individually when your gallery is up. One thing I do notice is often when a person signs up at an event they might write down that their dog jumped Sunday for example.... but not mention the other days... I do my best to catch it if they forgot to mention the other days... but if by chance I only do a gallery for one day for you this could be why.... so simply email me to let me know if anything is missing. Also please keep in mind that I get a TON of requests so I do work on these in every moment I can find... but I am a busy girl so please hang in there! But pretty much every day I am rolling out some galleries. As we approach June events... please keep in mind that the FASTEST and most economical way to get photos is to pre-order. It's never required as I do photograph all dogs... but in general I have pre-orders ready in about a week depending on volume of orders.

Unfortunately, we will not be offering video at the NADD Strawberry Classic at this time. Fingers crossed to do it in the future… but for anyone curious as to why it’s not happening now… here’s why… my son Pearce was hoping to do the videos. He’s amazing (if I do say so myself)…. But offering video at a large event means crazy high costs for the videographer. Pearce and I did a ridiculous amount of research… I mean HOURS upon HOURS…. Just when we thought we could pull it all together he did the math and realized the large drives we would need for storage (with back ups)… would be big bucks…. I mean BIG! Video takes up TONS of storage. Not to mention other gear updates to do the job right on a large scale. I will say Pearce REALLY wanted to do this for everyone! But as a college student who would be doing this as a side gig spending thousands to get this up and running is just too much. Maybe after one more year of college when he’s out in the work world he will consider this as a fun side gig…. But unfortunately, for now the dock diving videos will have to wait. I was personally super excited to see the results as he is an incredible video editor. Fingers crossed he can do it in the future. So for now… you’ve got me!!! I will be there photographing all dogs all 3 days. Watch this page as pre-order opens tomorrow!

GrooveStar Studio is CONSIDERING OFFERING CUSTOM DOG VIDEOS at the NADD Strawberry Classic 6/13-6/14 in Brooklyn, CT- and we need YOUR FEEDBACK before we invest in some new gear.

Each video would be:
• 30-45 seconds long
• Your choice horizontal or vertical format
• Packed with slo-mo, multiple camera angles, custom music, and energetic editing

Notes:
Pre-order only. One dog per video. Filming would be Saturday and Sunday only at the Strawberry Classic (so unfortunately, no Air Retrieve).

As this would be our first dock-diving video event, pricing would be significantly reduced.
• Add video to any photo pre-order: $65
• Video only: $125

Pup-date time! Whew! I thought I would come up for air for a minute.... been editing photos like a wild woman over here! lol So... just to keep things fresh and exciting for me I have been alternating working on requests from BOTH NADD at Central K9 and the DVDC Fast CAT. A few hours on one... a few hours on the other etc. When I work on requests I email people directly letting them know their gallery is up. So you won't be seeing those notifications on facebook because there would just be too many notifications. So... you can keep an eye on your email or keep an eye on the photo galleries. As always feel free to reach out with any questions.

Also please note my upcoming events. Lots of you have been asking about the Strawberry and YES I will be there again all 3 days! Keep an eye out for pre-order opening soon. I will say that since many people compete multiple times over multiple days I often end up with enormous galleries of photos for each dog... I have had many with over 100 pics at this event so it's a great event if you are interested in a package that gets you ALL your images... no matter if there are 50 or 200. But you will see more about that as an option on the pre-order form.

Hi Everyone! Just checking in with a little pup-date! The weather was pretty gross this weekend so rather that get out and do the usual kick off summer things... I was home editing pics. I now have ALL starting line photos up from both Saturday and Sunday of the DVDC Fast CAT. The Sunday pre-order galleries are underway and you will likely see some roll out later tonight and into tomorrow. Should have the last of the pre-orders complete Wed the latest.

So.... a bit about starting line shots. I never promise them. Although I have it mostly down to a science with the technical aspect.... all sorts of things could go wrong. I think of them like the gravy... a little bonus! For example if someone kicked over the camera... or a dog peed on it (only happened once and not on the lens)... or if mud got flung onto the lens then that would be the end of the starting line shots for the rest of the morning or afternoon. But for some reason I never even thought of this type of interference.... a spider walked across my lens. Fortunately it must have scurried across pretty quick because this is the only run all weekend with a spider cameo! Actually kind of fun I think!

So.... check out all the starting line pics.... everyone is included in these whether you pre-ordered, requested pics, or not.

Hi Everyone! Time for a little pupdate! (That's an update for those of you who are new around here.) It's nose to the grindstone over here... editing those pre-orders! I have been rolling out Saturday galleries throughout the day and will continue to do so this evening. Once the Saturday pre-orders are complete I will work on the Sunday start line shots followed by Sunday pre-orders. Once all pre-orders are complete I will send out email notifications. (So keeping an eye here is your best bet for updates.)

But, if you do see your gallery and are ready to start making your selections... here's how you do it... Simply click the heart on a photo to mark it as a favorite. Remember, you can include starting line shots with your selections too. If you need to upgrade your package just ask! If you upgrade at the time of making your selections you will get the pre-order discount. Once you have made your selections just email me at let me know and I will prepare your photos for you to download.

I do want to mention facebook messages and emails. I have gotten a LOT of messages lately so if you have made pre-order selections, sent me a gallery request, or reached out about anything please hang in there... I will circle back to emails in the next couple of days.

Hello! We made it safely back from the DVDC Fast CAT and editing photos is underway! Fun fact... we had to drive through FIVE states to get to this event! Whew!

So here's an update and a little insight into how I work. First I tackled the Saturday starting line images. Those are now in the gallery for everyone... not just pre-orders or requests. There are nearly 2000 images for Saturday starting line alone! This is because with the starting line I can't really pick out who is who so I just edit them all... so.... go have a look! Almost all runs are in there but to be real I may have missed triggering my starting line camera here and there... may have needed a drink of water, or had to change camera cards, etc. Next up are the Saturday pre-order galleries so you will start to see those roll out tomorrow... possibly a couple tonight... we'll see. Then it will be Sunday starting line and Sunday pre-orders. After all that will come all other requests.

Thank you to the Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club for inviting me to be your photographer again! It was another fun year of Fast CAT with awesome people and dogs! It was great seeing so many familiar faces... people and pups... and meeting new people and pups too!

I always keep pre-order open till midnight the last day of the event but since we hit too much traffic and we are just too tired we won't be back to home base till tomorrow... so I am keeping pre-order open till noon on Monday. Here's that link-
