Maine island magic.❤️
Take away all vehicles. Add foot paths and boardwalks meandering through forests of pine trees and along rocky coastlines. The rhythm of creaky porches with swaying rocking chairs, squeaky screen doors, and soft thud of footsteps on treads work soft by generations. Sleepy days at the beach, chilly water and kids running free until they come home tired and happy. Coat it all with salt spray & fog. Pure summer magic ✨✨✨

I am thrilled to have the beautiful print edition of Sidetracked Magazine with my article, Tears for Ethiopia inside.

Recent work with Team Rubicon , an amazing veteran-led humanitarian organization, delivering disaster relief & aid nationwide.💪
This was a local sawyer service weekend so that when a natural disaster strikes TR volunteers are highly skilled and capable of bringing much needed technical aid into the hardest hit communities.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

I am still pinching myself that this happened! .anjanettedecarlo and I were unexpectedly given the opportunity to present a Flag Return for our expedition in Ethiopia this past weekend at the Global Meetup.
Being granted a flag to carry into the field was already prestigious and thrilling. Presenting the work to our fellow members was amazing. Fortunately, it only hit me after our talk.
