This weekend is the , which aims to show the natural biodiversity we can have even in areas of bigger populations! So I'll be trying to spy, photograph, and submit all kinds of flora and fauna to iNat's database. If you live in a city of any size, feel free to join! There are also specific project pages for some bigger cities, like Boston and New York.
Pictured: a cabbage white butterfly I saw last week, my first of the season! These are probably the most common butterfly people see, and a lot of folks think they're moths bc they're white. Their caterpillars feed on... Can you guess?
