MIT Engineers Athletics hosted Coast Guard Athletics Saturday for the final round of the Women's Lacrosse NEWMAC Championship. Engineers won 12-5 to earn back-to-back championship titles.

FINAL: No. 2 Princeton 15, No. 9 Harvard 14

A The Ivy League men's lacrosse instant classic took place on Saturday at Harvard's Jordan Field as 3800 fans watched the Crimson take on the Princeton Tigers.

The game featured seven lead changes, and Harvard Men's Lacrosse took the lead with just two minutes left to play. Princeton Men's Lacrosse then scored two straight goals, with Colin Burns fifth goal of the day gave Princeton the lead with just 17 seconds remaining.

For the Tigers, Burns had a career-high 5 goals, and Nate Kabiri chalked up a hat trick.

On the Crimson, Teddy Malone totaled 5 points with 3 goals and 2 assists while Matt Barraco dominated the X with 15 face off wins.

Both programs have already locked up spots in the Ivy League conference tournament. Princeton's win moves them into a tie for 1st place in the standings with one regular-season matchup remaining.

Beautiful afternoon in Brighton for an Atlantic Coast Conference baseball matchup as Boston College Baseball hosted Duke for the first matchup of a three game series.

BC Senior A.J. Colarusso gets the W as the Eagles stomped the Blue Devils 11-1 and set a new program record with 44 career starts. Boston College also set a new team record with 14 stolen bases, tying the conference record.

After this series with Duke, BC hosts Maine and then travels to South Bend to play Notre Dame.

Next up for me is a Cambridge Day Ivy League lacrosse matchup between Princeton and Harvard.

Friday night was a National Women's Soccer League matchup under the lights at Gillette Stadium as the Boston Legacy FC hosted the San Diego Wave FC. Boston kept the game close but in the end the Wave prevailed over the Legacy, 1-0.

Next up for the Legacy is a matchup in Chicago on April 25th.

Not sure where I'll be next but the Eastern States Cup season kicks off later this month with enduro racing at Diamond Hill in Rhode Island and Downhill at Powder Ridge Bike Park, and the Race Day XC season kicks off at Southwick before heading to Belltown, CT.

I’m excited to announce that my photo of Gaetan Vige from the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series at Whiteface has been selected as one of ten finalists in the NYU Sports Film Festival photo contest!

I’ve never entered a contest before because I find the idea of paying someone to criticize me mildly terrifying, but decided to give this one a try because NYU has such an outstanding reputation in the art community and the contest was specifically sports focused. I’ve also photographed NYU basketball when they come to Boston the last few years and everyone seems really nice (probably a silly unrelated reason to enter a contest but it was enough to help me convince myself).

Over 10,000 fans came out to Gillette Stadium yesterday to celebrate Women In Sports day and watch the Boston Legacy FC take on Utah Royals FC. The Royals would go on to win the match 2-1 but fans got to see history made as Aïssata Traoré scored the first goal ever for the Legacy.
Next up for the Legacy is a home game against the San Diego Wave this Friday for “In Our Legacy Era” night with giveaways and post-match fireworks.

Hockey East semifinals game 2 was UConn Huskies vs Boston College Athletics. Huskies beat the Eagles 4-3 in overtime.

The Hockey East men's conference finals were at the TD Garden this weekend. In Game 1 of the semifinals UMass took on Merrimack. Final score: Merrimack 2, UMass 0. Merrimack would go on to beat UConn for the conference title and will face the University of North Dakota in the NCAA Regional Semifinals.

Saturday the Boston Fleet hosted the Seattle Torrent in front of a sold out crowd in Lowell. This was my first ever PWHL game, and if you haven't been to one yet, you should! Great hockey and great fans.

The Fleet won, 3-0. Next home game is Tuesday vs. Vancouver.
