β€οΈ A decision thatβs heavy on my heartβ¦ please read
Going forward, I will no longer be posting identifiable photos of childrenβs faces on my photography page, signed release or not.
With that being said, you may still see detail photos, little hands, the back of a head, blurred faces, or images where a child cannot be identified.
If you have photos from your session that you would like to post yourself, that is completely okay! I just donβt feel comfortable sharing identifiable photos of children on my public platform anymore.
Recent developments surrounding AI and the misuse of images of children have made me stop and really think about what Iβm putting online. I canβt control what happens to a photo once itβs on the internet, but I can control what I choose to share.
As a mom, I know how fiercely we want to protect our babies. I feel that same responsibility toward every child who steps in front of my camera.
So Iβm choosing their privacy and safety over likes, engagement, or having a beautiful portfolio online.
Iβll be removing the childrenβs photos currently on my page. This does not mean Iβm stepping away from photographing families. I absolutely love what I do, and I will continue capturing your beautiful memories.
I know some of you have loved seeing your families featured, and Iβm truly sorry if this change disappoints you. Please know this decision comes from a place of love, and I hope you can understand my heart.
I would rather have an empty portfolio than ever wonder if I could have made a safer choice.
Your children are worth protecting. Always. β€οΈ
I truly love each and every one of my clients, and I hope youβll continue choosing me to capture the beautiful memories that feel like home. π€
