The Jessie Canute

The Jessie Canute I run the website, Rust & Simple. Where simple living meets real freedom
Travel • Lifestyle • Intentional Living Hey Bestie!

I’m so glad you found your way here and landed in my little corner of the internet. I created this space as a way to share the things I love, travel, home, everyday moments, and the quieter parts of life that often get overlooked. What started as a simple outlet has grown into a place where I can share experiences, ideas, and reflections that feel real and meaningful. Here, you’ll find attainable

travel ideas, thoughtful home inspiration, honest conversations, and notes on living a slower, more intentional life. My hope is that you leave feeling a little calmer, a little inspired, and maybe encouraged to do life in a way that feels more true to you. I’m truly glad you’re here and look forward to sharing this space with you.

Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a stunning state park located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, about 30 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado. Known for its scenic beauty, diverse ecosystems, and abundant recreational opportunities, it’s a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The park spans over 12,000 acres and features a mix of dense forests, rocky peaks, meadows, and aspen groves. It ranges in elevation from about 7,600 to 10,400 feet, offering varied landscapes and beautiful views, including panoramic vistas of the Continental Divide. I took the girls sledding and sledding on a mountain is a must!
