One of the best parts of this job isn’t the photos.

It’s watching families grow.

What starts as a quick conversation before a session turns into remembering your kids’ names, hearing about new jobs, celebrating engagements, welcoming babies, and catching up on all the little things that make up your life.

I get a front-row seat to moments that matter. Not just the milestones everyone sees, but the in-between seasons too.

Over time, clients stop feeling like clients. They become familiar faces I look forward to seeing again. The children who were shy during their first session are suddenly running up to tell me about school. The couples who once stood in front of my camera for engagement photos are now bringing their babies back for family pictures.

The photographs are important, but the relationships behind them mean even more.
