Word of mouth is still great. It always will be.

But there are more tools now to help you reach more people, tell your story, and ultimately grow your business.

How do you feel about word of mouth vs. social media? What are you using to grow your reach?

Word of mouth still works. It always will.

But here’s what I’m seeing more and more: the businesses that are actually growing right now are the ones pairing that word of mouth with someone who can capture what they do and put it in front of people.

Just wrapped a shoot with a client and got to thinking about this. You can have the best service, the best product, the best reputation in your trade, and still be invisible online. Someone tells their friend about you, that friend goes to check you out, and there’s nothing there. No video. No proof of work. Nothing showing what you actually do.

That’s the gap I try to fill. Not just “make content,” but actually point people in the right direction, capture the real work happening, and get it in front of the right eyes.

If you’re a business owner and you know word of mouth is carrying you but your social media isn’t matching the work you’re putting in, that’s a conversation worth having.
