As kids we all have dreams. If you asked the 13 years old me what I was going to be when I grew up, I would have said an NFL player. Well, we all know that didn't happen. I'm a govt worker and a photographer. However, this gent right here knew since he was a child that he was going to be an R&B singer.......And guess what, he's an R&B singer. It's great to see people who actually have dreams, set goal and accomplish them.

The best thing about shooting headshots....The face to face interaction. I've shot a few weddings and its constantly running behind the bride and groom and trying to capture guest. Its not bad, but you are kind of by your self and you sometimes feel like an outsider amongst the other guest. I've shot babies, and as cute as they are, they just lie there. There is no excitement there at all, then they cry then they have to feed, so sometimes it breaks your flow as a photographer. Shooting couples isn't that bad, but they are the two that are doing the interacting and once again you are just along for the ride. But head shots are so personal. You shoot, talk, laugh, share stories and then shoot some more. I can honestly say that I have made some real friends through shooting headshots and I wouldn't have it an other way.
