⚠️ Graphic Warning: Birth Photos ⚠️

One year ago today, I got to witness my sister do one of the most terrifying and beautiful things she’ll ever do.

After years of trying and wondering if this day would ever come, she finally got to meet her baby.

I’ll never forget watching her on that operating table, reminding her that her baby was almost here. Looking over and seeing Josh’s fear too. Then suddenly, there she was.

Kinsley’s chunky cheeks were one of the first things I noticed. Worship music playing. My sister’s tears when she saw her baby for the first time. The look of pride on Josh’s face.

I’m so thankful I got to capture it all, the pregnancy announcement, maternity photos, baby shower, birth, and Fresh 48.

That’s why I love photography. It freezes the moments you never want to forget.

If you know my brother, you know he’s the go with the flow type… and I am definitely not. I spotted them twice because he texted the worst directions, got lost (twice), ran through a forest sweating but trying to stay hidden, and even fell in some mud and down a hill. But I’d do it all over again to be there for this perfect moment.

Jayden finally proposed to the best soon to be sister in law I could ask for! Abby is perfect for him. She’s nerdy, organized, and the proud owner of a planner to keep him slightly less “go with the flow” (though somehow, things always work out for him anyway).

So happy for them both and fingers crossed they let me capture their big day, even though weddings aren’t exactly my thing! 💍✨
