Decorative repair is often invisible when done well — and that is exactly the point.
At the end of renovations, furniture moves, impacts, scratches, and unexpected damage can happen on wood, decorative finishes, walls, panels, or custom surfaces. My work often consists of carefully rebuilding what was damaged so the repair disappears back into the original material.
This process involved:
• color matching
• recreating wood grain and tonal movement
• camouflage of the damaged areas
• layered detailing and texture work
• meticulous blending into the surrounding finish
The goal is not simply to “cover” damage, but to restore visual continuity so the eye no longer stops at the repair.
These types of specialty touch-ups require patience, observation, and an understanding of color, sheen, texture, and material behavior.
