Congratulations to my friends at on their 10-year anniversary at The Golden Probe Awards! 🥂✨

Celebrating ten years of fierce advocacy, Abortion Acess Front utilizes humor to fight for abortion rights and fund raise for access to care. It was a powerful and inspiring night filled with feminist icons fighting for the cause, including this year’s honoree !

What was the last thing you shot before quarantine? ⁣

I shot this scorcher on the Thursday before lockdown began. We headed to Coney Island to do a fun shoot for . There were no people anywhere and the sky was ominous. It felt like Zuul was on her way to end the world, little did we know our world would soon end in ways we wouldn’t imagine. It’s eerie to look back on a last moment of normalcy. But also healing. Life will always go on. Fun will somehow always be had. From the alchemy of pain and destruction comes creation of something new and better. I’m thinking ahead about the coming season and how to integrate the lessons learned during quarantine, and ultimately how to move forward and create my new, better reality. And creating always helps heal...looking forward to catching my inspiration and getting back to being a creator. xo H⁣

“My friends and I painted The Over Easy in 2009 for the rap legend, Captain Breakfast. We were driving cross country when inspiration struck and the Over Easy was born in a driveway in New Orleans. At over 300,000 miles, she still runs great, and can be seen cruising the streets of Brooklyn, New York.”⁣

Life during COVID-19. Aching for physical connection, but doing my best to cherish this time to dive deeply inward and see what my head and my heart finds. What a tragic yet extraordinary time this is. It feels as if humanity as a whole is doing massive shadow work. Life can’t go back to what it was before. Hoping, praying that some big lessons are learned to make our world a better place. Yes things are bad and are about to get unimaginably worse, but I’m a true believer of destruction ultimately clearing the path for better ways to come. ⁣

On a local note, NYC feels terrifying right now and we’re weeks away from the peak. All I hear are ambulances day and night. All I can do to fight the constant knot in my stomach is to go more deeply inward to process. Every moment not spent in homeschool chaos is spent quietly holding space for myself and everyone else struggling through this moment. ⁣

Sending all my love and best healthy juju to be safe. And remember, somehow, that this too shall pass. ⁣

From the incredible ...

“To say I’ve gone back and forth on posting these pictures is an understatement🖤⁣

Listen, I work with bodies every day. Rationally, I understand the awesomeness, the complexity, the similarities, the differences of our bodies but that doesn’t mean I haven’t had my struggles. However, getting in front of the camera with and was an unforgettable experience and I am so grateful for it🙌🏼⁣

When Heather sent me the photos, I was so focused on the pure joy in my face😆, the freedom I was clearly feeling 💃🏼and fun I was having that nothing else seemed to matter. I laughed out loud rather than critiqued every little “thing” I could have seen. Thank you for this Heather🙏🏼(honestly, and I hadn’t even been into the 🍷)⁣

Our bodies are AMAZING🙌🏼They grow, the adapt to change, they are a vessel for the gifts we share with each other. As a physio, I am an advocate that we take care, protect and treat our bodies with the utmost respect. That doesn’t mean shrinking it, manipulating it or even hiding it that means fuelling it well, moving it often and loving it.⁣

Thank you 📸Heather, 👙Knix and 🙋🏼‍♀️Meg for helping me see that I am picture perfect as is.⁣”

“On Sept 18th, I had the greatest opportunity to capture my postpartum body with my long time friend and sister. We stripped down and bravely had ourselves photographed. It was such an amazing, vulnerable, emotional moment for us! This is us, this is me 2 month postpartum. Thanks to and thank you 📸 for giving us this moment.......... @ Toronto C•A•N•A•D•A
