We’re Sarah (Lockhart) + Tim (Ryon) and we’ve run this beloved photography business together since 2011! Our son, Makai (aka Kai, aka lil Mak) joined us earth side Spring of 2019 and we’ve been soaking in all the joy, laughter, tears, dirty laundry (so much laundry you guys), unknowns, and honest to goodness fun ever since! I don't love taking couples away from their party... but when we're all able to sneak away for 10 or so min toward the end of cocktail hour, we often end up with some of my favorite images from the day.

The anxiety/nerve has melted away, you've just married your best bud, you've likely had a glass (or 2) of wine, and the light is delicious. These moments are fleeting, but feel just so dang good. If I can capture even an ounce of that feeling for you and bottle it up in an image, I've done my job well ❤

A lot of families have been reaching out lately for newborn sessions and I always let them know they won't be getting any ultra posed/overly retouched/baby in a basket photos.
Because moments like this, you guys. These are the ones your kids will want to keep when they are all grown up. This is the good stuff.

Valentine's Day has never been a day of significance for me... but the older I get, the more I recognize the importance of supporting any opportunity to celebrate love. True, honest to goodness, soul comforting love - which looks different for each of us - SHOULD be championed.
So, let your partner/your sister/your child/your friend/etc know how much you adore and appreciate them. Remind them how loved they are. Don't assume they know. I promise it means more than you think ❤
