As a long time video guy, I have to say I despise ring lights. Especially when used on subjects that wear glasses. It's highly distracting, something good video should never be as it interferes with the message.

Now GET OFF MY LAWN!

It's natural to be nervous when on camera. Take a breath, slow down and speak clearly. It's all about effective communication.

A bit of editing today with Kdenlive 20.12, very capable. A few quirks. 1. When creating a title, you cannot see the video behind it which forced me to go back in and edit the graphic several times (lower third for Side Street News is a PNG, and I then put the text in another graphic. I have though found a way to save a template so I can use it again in other episodes. 2. One cannot, or at least I haven't found a way, to grab the timeline window and slide horizontally. I have to zoom out, and place the playhead where I want it and then zoom in. You can grab on the right side of the window, even though you can't really see the tool, and scroll vertically thru the tracks

Bands, video is key to promoting yourself to venues. The key to good video is to show your best stuff, a good selection and quickly.
