We're almost at the end of our Tiny Grad shares and I am so sad!! These sessions have been the absolutely cutest and I have loved seeing all the excited kiddos about their big accomplishment!

Mom Update: She is home and recovering! We are so incredibly thankful for all of the prayers, messages, check-ins, and support over the last week.

It has meant more to our family than we can put into words. My mom’s recent heart attack has brought a lot of unexpected changes, and we are taking things one day at a time. Several people have reached out asking how they can help, and first and foremost, your prayers are appreciated more than you know.

Tonight I am filled with such gratitude and appreciation to my amazing clients and wonderful photographer friends who have been so understanding and supportive.

This morning I received a call from my beautiful mama that she wasn’t feeling well and needed me to bring her to the ER. After arriving at one location the amazing staff there quickly realized she was having a heart attack and transported us to another hospital where she was rushed into surgery due to how severe the heart attack was. Thankfully life saving measures were put into place and I am blessed and so very thankful to have my mama still with me tonight.

With that being said today and this weekends schedule has changed for me drastically and I cannot put into words how grateful I am for the understanding and kindness of everyone!!

I will be slow to respond and delayed a few days on starting to send out lupine galleries but promise to catch up swiftly as things settle down once she is home!

We love ourselves a strong independent little woman over here 🤣

At least that's what I tell myself when my strong willed, sassy, says she's hyper independent but she's low key needy 13 year old daughter starts showing her personality 😝🤪😍

So when this little mama showed her sass and that she wasn't playing about her big brothers I couldn't help but laugh and just fall in love with her spunky personality!! She had my busting with laughter all evening...she's grown up so much since her milestone session 🥹

Another insight into my photographers mind: I often need to put together my sets a few times to get the FINAL vision to match what’s in my mind…hence why I do model calls!

For our Vintage Americana sessions I’ve had this beautiful set in my mind and between weather and moms heart attack there just hasn’t been enough hours in the day to do all the things 🤣

So tonight I grabbed one of the kiddos (yup that’s my super sassy youngest in there), attempted to throw the setup together real fast before I lost light and ended up stressing myself out more than anything 🤪🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I forgot a bunch of props, the light was setting fast, and the sassy model was well…sassy lol!!

BUT the vision is getting closer and we’re gonna try this one more time!!!

I’ve added a few weekday dates and we have some time for this weekend! If Sunday isn’t rainy I’m available to do these than as well!!

“I hope you like shooting wildlife cause my kids are feral” one mama said to me during her session as her little one ran from us 🤣

As a matter of fact, Feral children are my specialty 🤪🤣

I have seen it all folks!! Easy peasy sweet kids, shy kiddos, energetic over the top toddlers, little ones who want NOTHING to do with the camera…don’t worry about feeling embarrassed or upset!!

There is VERY little that will scare me off and I am probably one of the most patient people out there lol. I’m a mom to 3 very feral children of my own, have a background in early childhood education in my younger years and have been behind the camera for almost 16 years…I promise you the wild ones don’t bother me 🥰
