Today my husband found himself completely mesmerized watching a woodpecker hard at work. Such a tiny creature, yet so focused, determined, and persistent. Tap after tap, it never seemed distracted by the world around it.

What made the moment even more special was my husband capturing footage for me so I could experience the magic. Sometimes the simplest moments become the ones that stay with us the longest.

Watching that little bird reminded me that life is often about persistence, patience, and staying focused on your purpose no matter how loud the world around you becomes. God has a beautiful way of placing little reminders in nature when we need them most.

Today’s reminder came from a woodpecker… and from a husband who knew I’d want to hold onto the moment.
