Rain or shine, itās always youuuu šāØ
Truthfully, rainy wedding days arenāt hard because of the rain (it's usually the ungodly wind that's mixed inlol)
The challenging part is walking into a venue and trying to imagine every possible backup plan if the weather never clears. As photographers, we spend a lot of time scouting locations, checking covered areas, and figuring out how to make the most of whatever the day gives us.
What surprises me every time is how difficult it can be to find examples of rainy wedding days. Most venues showcase their gorgeous sunny sunsets and perfect weatherāwhich makes sense but rainy weddings do exist AND deserve their spotlight too.
Because if thereās one thing Iāve learned, itās that a little rain doesnāt take away from the magic of the day.
In fact, some of the most intimate, romantic, and memorable moments happen when couples embrace the weather instead of fighting it.
So hereās your reminder: your wedding day doesnāt have to be sunny to be beautiful. š¤
