My name is Isora Lithgow, I am a Student Affairs Professional by day and freelance photographer, videographer and graphic designer on the side. My passion for creativity has allowed me to explore the different ways in which I can bring these elements to spaces where they aren't traditionally seen or appreciated.

I love capturing portraits and special moments, sunsets, landscapes and everything in between.

After photographing weddings and engagement sessions all over the state, I’ve started to build a little list of places I love coming back to time and time again!

🌿 The Brick House for the lake, fields, stonework, and that pop of blue wallpaper on the staircase. (IYKYK)
🌸 for the gardens, mountain views, and historic architecture. Their catering is also 10/10.
🌲 for the rolling green hills and one of the most epic ceremony spots in Vermont.
🕯️ Hermitage Inn for a more modern take on the Vermont wedding experience which I LOVE! Also great indoor spaces.
⛰️ and for mountain wedding weekends that feel like a full Vermont getaway. Plus having your guest ride a gondola at your wedding weekend is pretty iconic.
🍇 for open space, wide views, vineyard vines, and golden summer light.
🏡 for cozy New England charm, especially in the winter. Talk about a Hallmark movie.
🤍 .inn for classic Vermont elegance, beautiful grounds, and that timeless New England feel.
🏙️ and downtown Burlington for a little city-meets-industrial feel.

The truth is, Vermont gives us so much to work with — mountains, lakes, historic inns, quiet gardens, city streets, covered bridges, and all those little corners that end up becoming some of my favorite frames.

⭐️ “Working with Isora was one of our favorite parts of our wedding and certainly one of the easiest. From the first time we met on video call to the actual wedding day, it was evident that she has done this many times before and has a winning recipe! In the planning stages, she made us feel confident and well-prepared with her checklists and questions without ever overwhelming us. As we approached our wedding day, she checked in with us and was flexible about changes we wanted to make and helped us really dial in what the day would look like. Without Isora, our schedule wouldn’t have been nearly as organized. She used her expertise to help us understand where we would need more time and when we could schedule multiple things at once to make the day flow better. It all went perfectly.

On our wedding day, she mingled with guests and caught candid moments galore on top of nailing our couples shots. Everyone who chatted with her adored her! She guided us through our shots with patience and reassurance and made us feel handsome and confident, which we don’t often feel in front of a camera!

Isora floats in any water and makes friends with everyone she encounters. She is incredibly BIPOC and Q***r safe (as a member of those communities herself) and made our diverse group of wedding guests feel comfortable and beautiful. She is a kind and steady presence and she was an integral part of our big day.

We could hardly wait to see our photos and luckily, Isora knew that! She sent a sneak peak that made us even more sure we’d made the right choice. The photos were absolutely incredible. When we received the full gallery (beautifully organized and very accessible) we were overjoyed. These are easily the best photos of us we’ve ever had taken and her eye was a perfect fit for our wedding. Her style is uniquely her but also manages to adapt to her clients seemingly with ease. Her photos perfectly captured our desired aesthetic and will be ones that we cherish for the rest of our days. We could not recommend working with Isora enough!!” 🧡 Molly + Grey

Happy Loving Day. 🤎 Today honors Loving v. Virginia, the landmark decision that made in*******al marriage legal across the United States.

As a photographer, I’m so grateful I get to document love stories that are unique, personal, and reflect the real people in front of my camera.

Every couple deserves a space where they can be fully themselves with out question, with out compromise. That includes honoring your love as it is, and making sure every skin tone is captured accurately and beautifully.

Celebrating in*******al love today and always. ✨

is easily one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions, and it’s not because it’s only 5 minutes from my home. 🌿

Lake views, golden light, original architecture and so much love between these two. Engagement sessions like this are such a gift because they give us time to slow down, wander a little, and capture the season you’re in before the wedding day arrives.

Can’t wait to celebrate these two again soon at this summer! 🤍
