When we started planning our holiday food drive back in October, we weren’t quite sure how it was going to go. As a community we were able to provide a little over two totes of food to the City Hope Foundation. Thank you Burlington for coming together to support our neighbors! Same time next year? 😉🎄

Did you see the aurora borealis in Southeast Iowa last night? If you missed them, we may have a chance to see them again! Here are some tips and camera settings to help you capture the northern lights tonight✨🌌

📲Mobile
-Set your phone on a tripod or stable surface
-Turn on the self timer (Both 3 and 10 seconds work!)
-Turn off your flash
-Drop you exposure just a bit
-Turn on RAW max in your camera settings if possible

📸 DSLR
-Set your camrea on a tripod
-Turn on the timer to avoid camera shake
-Use manual focus
ISO: 300-600
Shutter: Bulb (8-15 seconds)
F Stop: 1.4 (or the lowest your lens allows)
Kelvin: 3500k-4000k
These are just a good baseline, so you should adjust the settings after a few test shots to make sure it's looking the way you want it to.
