Welcome to Michael Menees Photography LLC! 📷
Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for me, and I wanted to share a little about how I got here.
Photography became an important part of my life during a time of tremendous change. After losing my wife, Michelle, I found myself searching for ways to work through my grief, get out of the house, and begin discovering what the next chapter of my life might look like.
I picked up my camera.
What started as a way to get outside, clear my mind, and focus on something positive gradually became a real passion. Photography gave me a reason to explore new places, learn new skills, challenge myself, and start seeing the beauty in the world around me again.
As that passion grew, so did my confidence. And now I’ve decided to take a chance on myself and turn something I love into Michael Menees Photography LLC.
I enjoy photographing portraits, families, special events, nature, and motorsports. Whether it’s the excitement of a race, a beautiful landscape, or a genuine moment between people, I want to create photographs that capture moments worth remembering.
I’m still learning, growing, and discovering where this journey will take me. But I’ve learned that sometimes a new direction in life begins when you least expect it.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me, followed my photography, shared my work, or simply told me to keep going. It has meant more than you probably realize.
