Hey guyssss! 👋🏻✨

It's been a minute since I've introduced myself around here, and there are quite a few new faces hanging out in my little corner of the internet, so I figured we're overdue!

I'm Cat! The photographer, professional third wheel, dress fluffer, and person behind Catherine Plaisted Photography.

A little about me outside of taking pictures:

✨ I'm married to my husband, Bill, and our house is basically a zoo thanks to our three labs and two cats.

✨ I love camping, exploring new places, and finding any excuse to explore!

✨ I have approximately a million hobbies and interests (books, TWILIGHT, sewing, video games ZELDA PEEPS WHERE YOU AT, board games), and I'm always finding another one to add to the collction.

✨ I'm a sucker for a good love story, a little nostalgia, and people who aren't afraid to be unapologetically themselves.

✨ I am the textbook definition of a caffeine fiend, I can (and usually will) drink coffee/espresso any time of day!

✨ Tummy ache survivor

✨ I will absolutely hype you up, fix your hair, tell you what to do with your hands, and provide comical relief wehn needed!!

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet some of the coolest people, witness some pretty incredible moments, and turn strangers into familiar faces. I don't take that for granted.

My approach has always been pretty simple. real people, real moments, and photographs that actually feel like YOU. No pressure to be perfect or pretending to be someone you're not. Just showing up as yourself and letting me take care of the rest.

FAQ
Who can participate?
These sessions are ideal for couples and immediate families. Please contact me before booking if you have a larger group or would like to include extended family.

What should we wear?
Think cozy textures, rich seasonal colors, and outfits that complement each other without being overtly matching. Keep in mind that these photos will take place outside (weather permitting), so dress appropriately!

What happens if it rains?
These sessions are to take place outdoors, but we will move inside the tea house in the event of inclement weather.

When will we receive our photos?
You will receive a gallery no later than December 1st, 2026.

Can we arrive early?
Yes!!!! I highly recommend it arriving 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time in case of any last minute touch ups, bathroom breaks, etc. Because sessions are booked back to back, late arrivals will result in reduced photo time.
