Hi all! Sorry for the distinct lack of content lately - wet-cold isn't very great for the equipment, and I don't have heated lenses (yet!). However, as we move into a more dry-cold as we get deeper into winter, I'll be able to bring the camera out more. Today was one of those days!

Chickadees may just be my favorite small bird :) They're so cute! And something about them feels very sentimental, reminds me of when I lived in North Carolina.

This little buddy spent some time on the branches while I was outside and I just had to get some pictures of him.

Thanks to everyone who came to the 3rd annual St. Ann School craft show today! It was a great opportunity to sell some of my older paintings, hand-bound books and some of my printed photos!

It's National Cat Day! To celebrate, I took my kitty, Jellie, for a photoshoot in the woods 😁

National Cat Day can serve as a day for crazy cat people to come together and reminisce over their love of the domesticated felines we allow to control our lives... Though, it can also be a good day to spread awareness for cat adoption!

Check out your local shelter to see if there's a cat in need that may just fill a perfect spot in your life. If you're not quite looking to adopt but still wish to help, consider fostering or donating! (Most shelters also accept food, bowls, and even blankets as donations)

After fostering over 400 sick and/or feral kittens over the years (that's not even an exaggeration lol) I can confidently say that all it takes is one caring soul to change a life ❤️
