I have A LOT of photographs of Snix. Thousands actually. 😂

Action photos. Adventure photos. Portraits from every stage of her life.

But this one feels different. 💜

Maybe it’s because after 13½ years together, there’s a whole lifetime behind that look she gives me.

The look that says she’s ready for whatever comes next – a walk, a game of fetch, a road trip, or simply sitting together while the world goes by.

She’s still stealing balls from the younger dogs. Still keeping everyone in line. Still making me smile every single day.

And while I’m usually much happier BEHIND the camera than in front of it, I’m so grateful to have this photograph of us.

Just a girl and her dog.

Exactly as we are in this season of life. 💜

Before there was a legacy, there was a puppy.

Before the accomplishments, the championships, and the generations that would follow, there was simply Texas.

A dog with extraordinary instinct, remarkable intelligence, and a heart that captured his family’s completely.

I truly don’t even have words for how much this touched my heart. 🥹❤️

Photography has always been about so much more to me than creating beautiful images. It’s about connection, storytelling, and helping others see the soul behind the eyes looking back at them.

Being able to use my photography and creative work to help dogs in need through Charlie’s Angels Rescue has become incredibly meaningful to me. Every dog deserves to be seen. Every dog deserves a chance. And if my images can help even one dog find their forever family, then every hour spent is worth it.

Thank you, Angie Smith Wright, for your friendship, trust, and for allowing me to be part of this amazing rescue journey. What you are doing for these dogs is truly extraordinary. 🐾❤

Some puppies are cute.

And then there are the ones that completely steal your heart the second you meet them. 💓

Ruby is that kind of puppy.

The floppy ears, the fuzzy coat, the joyful little run across the grass like life is the greatest adventure she’s ever known.

She’s sweet in the purest way – the kind of puppy who looks at the world with curiosity, excitement, and absolutely zero bad intentions. Just happiness and love.

And honestly? I don’t think anyone could look into those eyes and not fall a little bit in love. 😍🥰

It would be easy to look at Stetson’s story and focus only on what happened to him.

But honestly? What stays with me most is how gentle and sweet he still is (and just look at that smile!!!). 🤍

The softness in his eyes. The way he leans into affection. The quiet trust he continues to offer despite everything life has already asked of him.

There’s something incredibly moving about a dog who still chooses love after hardship. And I have a feeling Stetson’s story is only beginning to show us just how special he truly is. ✨

Puppies should never have to know pain this early in life. 💔😭

At only a few months old, Stetson was found alone outside a California shelter with a broken leg and broken pelvis — injuries no puppy should have had to endure.

And yet somehow… his softness remained.

The way he looks at people, the way he still leans into love, the quiet hope still sitting behind those soulful eyes.

Stetson’s injuries healed improperly before rescue, and he still has a journey ahead of him. But what stands out most about this sweet boy isn’t what happened to him.

It’s his resilience. His story could have ended very differently.

Instead, this little shepherd mix made it to Idaho surrounded by people determined to give him the future he deserves – and we believe his best days are still ahead of him. ❤️
