💜 An Update on Brandy 💜

In February 2025, Brandy was involved in a serious car accident that caused significant neck and spinal injuries. What was hoped to be a recovery with treatment instead became a long and difficult medical journey.

After months of worsening symptoms, Brandy underwent major neck surgery in October 2025, requiring a full plate replacement due to the extent of the damage. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning.

Now that her neck surgery is complete, doctors are finding more extensive damage throughout her spine and hips. Brandy is currently facing at least 1–3 additional major surgeries, with the possibility of more, all needing to be done in stages. She is dealing with SI joint dysfunction in both hips, worsening nerve pain down both legs, and severe mobility limitations.

At this point, Brandy is fully reliant on help from others, including hands-on physical assistance. She lives alone, which has made daily life and medical needs incredibly difficult. She is unable to work and has exhausted her savings and resources.

Right now, Brandy urgently needs support, especially help with:

A wheelchair-accessible ramp to safely enter and exit her home

Basic household bills while she remains medically unable to work

This request for help is being shared around the holidays, but it is not related to holiday expenses — it is simply the reality of where her health and finances are right now.

Earlier this year, my dear friend Brandy was in a serious car accident that changed her life in an instant. She sustained severe spinal and neck injuries that have left her with limited mobility, chronic pain, and the need for major surgery.

After months of waiting, setbacks, and worsening symptoms, she is finally scheduled for spinal surgery on October 22nd. The recovery will be long and difficult, but we’re believing for healing and strength every step of the way.

Brandy has been unable to work since the accident and has exhausted her savings and resources just trying to stay afloat. She has applied for disability, but that process can take months — sometimes even years. Right now, she urgently needs help to keep her home, cover essential bills, and manage the expenses that come with recovery.

✨ Love doesn’t wait for the perfect timing ✨

This sweet couple chose to celebrate their love in the most meaningful way—an intimate elopement before the groom heads off to basic training in just a few days. 💍🇺🇸

I had the honor of officiating their marriage and capturing their special day through photography. From a little bit of silly to a little bit of serious, the candid and posed shots were equally beautiful—because when there’s a strong connection of love between two people, every moment shines. 💕📸

I couldn’t be happier with how these edits turned out, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of such a heartfelt occasion.

Today was hot.
The kind of hot where the air feels heavy, the humidity wraps around you like a blanket, and the sun doesn’t let up for a second. But nothing — not the heat, not the sweat, not the forecast — could dim the pride and joy on this Family Day.

I had the honor of capturing a family’s beautiful celebration of their newly graduated soldier. Mom, dad, grandmother, and siblings, all beaming with love and pride. These moments… they remind me that the milestones aren’t just about the ceremony — they’re about the journey, the sacrifice, and the people who’ve been there every step of the way. ❤️

And then, in the middle of the day, nature offered its own little masterpiece: a bird, wings stretched wide, standing tall above a line of turtles sunbathing on a log. One tiny turtle looked up at the bird like it was their leader — and I couldn’t help but think of the soldier being celebrated today, standing proud while those who love him look on. 🐦🐢

Just finalized the photos from last week’s maternity shoot, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! 🌿📸 This sweet nursery-themed indoor session was full of warmth, love, and quiet anticipation for baby’s arrival. There’s something so special about capturing those last few moments before everything changes. 💛✨

This group graduation session with seven amazing ladies was full of laughter, friendship, and sweet moments of nostalgia. From inside jokes to cap tosses, they brought the energy and made this shoot unforgettable.

Doing this cap and gown session in mid-April meant a lot to me. I never got the chance to walk across a stage myself — I completed my college degree online. So being able to celebrate others as they reach this milestone fills my heart in a special way.

We had so much fun exploring different spots around campus, and the photos turned out even more beautiful than I imagined.

With the flowers blooming and the weather warming up, I can’t wait to capture even more moments for graduates stepping into their next chapter. You’ve earned every bit of celebration!
