Simplicity No.10 ~
This is the image that I wanted to capture this morning. I had shot this with sea smoke quite a few years ago, but just wasn’t happy with it. I’m finally feeling creative again, and it feels like a huge, warm hug! Although it was extremely cold!

Mother Lightning ~
This probably is one of my favorite lighting shots I've taken. This was 8 years ago. I've been going through old work to try inspire myself to get back shooting again. I forgot that photography is personal and how much I enjoyed it. I have been extremely busy with work and baseball over the last few years, kids first. Yet, I think I got overwhelmed with trying to "keep up" with social media and trying to promote my photography as a business. I still see that race happening, and honestly it has turned me off. This is hard to put into words but I have come to realize that I just need to enjoy what I shoot. It's that simple, isn't it? 🙂

Surreal ~
An image I took back in 2018. It reflects how I'm feeling right now, yet storms will pass......
As the first round of thunderstorms passed Portland Head Light, a unique fog appeared quickly, creating a surreal scene. I was trying for lightning, but this fog was amazing. I knew I had to try and capture it, even though the wind was insane! I set up quick and snapped a photo just as lightning lit up the clouds and fog, completely embedded in the clouds. I got lucky when I pushed the shutter, but then again you must show up, glad I did.

Hey everyone, I know I've been slacking on the photographs, with all going on I've been getting out when I can. I've been mostly checking my wildlife cameras and getting out in the woods. I also flew my drone for the first time in a while, so I want to share a video that I took on Friday of Johnson Bog, West Forks, Maine. My 12 year son made the music behind the video.
